5 Game Ideas

I have been thinking about diffrent game ideas for diffrent subjects for civics, news, literacy, citizenship, and s.t.e.m. Here is my ideas for each...
Civics:
For civics I would like to have a game that made you a judge in court. The game would be for ages 8 and up. You would have to know all the laws that protect citizens and also the correct way to apply them. You would have a realistic court case that you have to judge. You must study the law and be able to use, recite, and know it's benefits and the down falls. This would make knowing your rights and responsibilities as a citizen easy. If youth would get interested in this game it would better prepare them for becoming a productive member of society. I think this would be a great game for anyone to play but especaily teens.
Civics:
I have another game idea for the whole citizen thing. Okay this game would be for all ages. The player would be a police officer patroling the streets. The player would have to know all the local and state laws, rights, and regulations. So after they study up and pass their officer test they will get to become a police officer. Then they will get to pull someone over, they will have to know the law, how to correctly use it, and when to use it. As they reach a new level it will be harder to judge, apply, and master. They will win the game by getting to arrest a murderer. By playing this game it would make the players have respect for law inforcement.
News:
For the subject of the news that one is a little harder for me. I think that most news is bad if your like me you have plenty of your own problems to deal with. But I do have an idea for a news game. It would be for the player to get to be a journalist. They would have to go on site and collect details of breaking news. I think this would give the public a better idea of what real life is. People actually watch the news for intertainment purposes! What information they recorded would then be used to create a newspaper article. The article would be then given a score based on a reader. Every time they beat there previous score they get a new more complex story to feed to the public. Finally they will win by getting the big front page cover story.
Literacy:
This game would be aimed at the younger age group like in grade school. I would have the game set up like this the player would start off with some directions on how to play, then they would start the game in a black room. The leters of the alphabet would flash before them on a wall. They will have to remember these letters in order. Then they will find themselves in the sea holding there breath. There will be a man eating shark after them, in order to prevent getting ate by the shark they will have to type out the alphabet. The more letters they know in order the faster they will be able to swim. If not fast enough they die figure out how:) But if they can remember the alphabet in order they will reach the shore line and be safe winning the game.
Citizenship:
This game would be targeted towards young middle schoolers. I would make the game be about giving back to the communtiy. The player would be a volunteer at a local shelter. To begin with they would have to give the defination of citizenship. Then they would recieve the instructions on playing the game. The game starts with them being the cook at a volunteer shelter for the homeless. They would have to make 50 people smile in various ways like just talking to them. Then once you have made 50 smile you go to the next level. This whole be a good citizen theme would continue through out getting more difficult each time. The final level would be to truely make a diffrence in someone's life then you win the citizenship award.
S.T.E.M.:
First of all stem stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. This has a varity of diffrent fields to go into but for my game idea it falls under science. I think this would be a racing game that would probably be for about middle school age range. The game would be about the laws of  physics and how they apply. In the begining you would get to create your own race car however you want it. Then the game would begin. You have the keyboard arrows to control your car. There would be curves in the race track. The laws of physics would come into play here because depending on how fast you would go would be how far out you would drift while going in the curve. As you go to diffrent levels it would get more intense at higher speeds and sharper curves. You would win the game by beating the 9 other players and comming in first.

These are just a few of my game ideas. Since we have been working on our team game it has made me think a lot about what intrests the mind, what will hold your attencion, and what makes a game "fun".  I think these are great ideas, but these are just few I have been thinking about.
